College Football Welcome Back
This week saw the 2012 College Football season kick off with the College Football top 25 all in action with one marquee game with Number 2 ranked Alabama & 8th ranked Michigan battle it out at Cowboys stadium in Arlington Texas.
Its rare to see 2 teams in the preseason top 25 go head to head in week 1 but in the 2012 College Football scores week 1 we saw Alabama & Michigan battle it out with Alabama showing a truly dominant performance and showing they deserve their preseason rank.
The Crimson tide defeated Michigan 41-14 behind a strong performance from quarterback AJ McCarron & a stifling defence which stopped Michigan QB Denard Robinson from making an impact on the day. Many will be arguing that Alabama deserve the number 1 position in the College football rankings.
USC open 2012 College Football season with a Win
The team who held the preseason number 1 spot were USC who had 18 starters returning including Quarterback Matt Barkley returning for his senior year. They threw down a dominant performance with a 49-10 victory over Hawaii in LA. Matt Barkley lead by example throwing for 4 touchdowns for 372 yards and proving they may have the best offence in the whole of NCCA College football.
3rd ranked LSU kicked off their 2012 College football season with a dominant victory over North Texas with a 41-14 victory in Baton Rouge. 4th ranked Oklahoma produced an unconvincing 24-7 win over UTEP whilst 5th ranked Oregon defeated Arkansas St 57-34 to round out a perfect start for the top 5 teams in the College Football rankings.
Elsewhere in the 1st week of College football results saw 13th ranked Michigan State defeat 24th ranked Boise St at Spartan Stadium 17-13. The victory came thanks to a huge performance from Michigan State Le’veon Bell who scored 2 touchdowns & rushed for 210 yards.
There were also were big wins for Florida State, Arkansas & Oklahoma St who destroyed Savannah St 84-0 for the biggest margin of victory in the 1st week of College football.

Bowl Game Scores Poinsettia & Beef ‘o’ Brady’s Bowl Games
Since the 3 Bowl Game Scores on Saturday their have only been 2 other College Bowl games and we will take a look at the latest bowl game scores.
The first bowl game since Saturday was the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s bowl which took place at Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg in Florida. The 2 teams taking place in the game were Florida International of the Sun Belt conference & Marshall of Conference USA.
The Bowl game scores were tied at 10-10 at half time but the second half belonged to Marshall who scored a touchdown & a field goal in the 4th quarter to win their bowl game. The field goal broke the tie with 5 minutes remaining and Rakeem Cato threw the touchdown to Aaron Dobson with 32 seconds on the clock to make sure of the victory.
2011 Bowl Game Scores – Poinsettia Bowl
In another 2011 Bowl game scores came from the state of California with the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. 18th ranked TCU took on Louisiana Tech at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. It was a game that many thought would be easy for the Horned frogs but ended up a lot closer than people thought.
TCU were trailing 24-17 going into the 4th quarter by a score of 24-17 after Myles White made a 61 yard touchdown pass from Colby Cameron.
However the 4th quarter belonged to TCU when Luke Shivers rushed in for a touchdown to tie the scores at 24-24 with 7 minutes remaining. A touchdown pass from Casey Pachall to Skye Dawson was the deciding score to give TCU the 31-24 win.

College Football Scores – Opening Bowl Game Scores
The College Football bowl season kicked off on Saturday with 3 bowl games which certainly whetted the appetite for the other upcoming bowl games. We will now take a look at the Bowl game College football scores from the games on Saturday.
We begin our 2011 College football scores from the bowl games at the New Mexico Bowl where Temple were taking on Wyoming. It was a game which Temple dominated from the start as they scored 21 unanswered points to begin the game which all came from rushing touchdowns. Wyoming managed a score in the first half but it was cancelled out after just 18 second when Quarterback Chris Coyer hit Rod Streater for the 61 yard score to leave the game at 28-7 at the end of the first half.
The bowl game score got worse for Wyoming as they lost the match 37 -15 and gave Temple their first bowl game win in 32 years.
College Football Scores – Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
The Bowl season College Football scores continued straight away as Ohio took on Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in what was a tight encounter. Utah State let the game 23 -17 heading into the 4th quarter but that lead would not be good enough. Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton would scamper in for the 1 yard score with 13 seconds in the game remaining to give Ohio the 24-23 victory.
For Ohio it was their ever bowl victory in the college’s history, after appearing in and losing 5 previous bowl games.
College Football Scores – R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl
The Final College Football Scores Bowl games saw the San Diego State Aztects take on the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. In what was another tight College football scores from a bowl game saw the result going down to the final tick of the clock.
San Diego State thought they had the game won when they scored a touchdown in the final 35 seconds but this would not be the case as the Ragin’ Cajuns kicker Brett Baer hit a 50 yard field goal to win the game as time expired.

This weekend the first of the 2011 Bowl games begins and it is what many college football fans have been waiting for. Most will be sitting watching the first game of the 2011 Bowl Games season which comes live on ESPN.
The first of the 2011 Bowl games sees Temple of the MAC conference take on Wyoming of the Mountain West Conference in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. They are not College Football powerhouses but there is something special about bowl games which will ensure millions will be watching.
There are 2 other 2011 Bowl Games which will be taking place on Saturday with the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl taking place in Boise Idaho. The bowl game will see Ohio take on Utah State which sees the MAC take on the WAC.
The third 2011 Bowl games which will take place on Saturday sees San Diego State take on La Lafayette in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

They are only the appetisers of the 2011 Bowl Games season as once those 3 are complete there are 32 the 2011 Bowl Games and most are looking forward to the BCS Bowl games where the best College Football teams will go head to head.

Last night saw the selection of the BCS Bowl Games which will decide the nations best College football teams. It is the part of the season where College football fans will disagree on who is playing in the BCS Bowl Games and the BCS Bowl Games 2011 is no exception.
The 2 teams that sat atop of the BCS Rankings will play in the BCS Championship game and their was no doubt about the team who sat at the top of the Rankings the undefeated LSU but the jury is out on their opponents Alabama. A portion of the College football world believe Oklahoma State should have played in the biggest of the BCS Bowl Games.
However it has now been decided and nothing will change the NCAA Bowl Schedule and it will be Alabama who face LSU in the Allstate BCS National Championship on January 9th.
BCS Bowl Games – Oklahoma State pushed into Fiesta Bowl
Looking at the other BCS Bowl Games we see Oklahoma State face off against Stanford in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on the 2nd January where Andrew Luck will possibly play his last game before leaving for the NFL.
Another BCS Bowl game being played on the 2nd January will see Oregon face off against Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. The Allstate Sugar Bowl will see Michigan & Virginia Tech go head to head in Miami on the 3rd January whilst on the 4th Clemson will battle West Virginia in the Discover Orange Bowl.
Those are all of the 2011 BCS Bowl games but their are still other eye catching bowl games which will be played out over the festive period.

College Football Scores Week 14
This weekend saw the final set of College football scores before the College football bowl games get under way to finish out the year. The majority of the college football scores would help decide which teams would get a bowl bid with teams hoping to get into one of the big money BCS bowls.
We begin our review of saturdays College football scores at the Boone Pickens Stadium where 3rd ranked Oklahoma State took on 10th ranked Oklahoma. Oklahoma State knew that if they were to have any chance of playing in the BCS National Championship game they would have to defeat their in state rivals. Oklahoma State raced to a 24-3 half time lead thanks to 2 Joseph Randle rushing touchdowns.
The Cowboys would never look like losing that lead and their dominance continued in the second half as they romped to a 44 -10 win and the Big 12 Championship.
The margin of victory and the way that Oklahoma secured the victory has given the BCS selection committee a tough choice on who will face LSU in the BCS Title game.
LSU continued their undefeated season with another commanding College football scores to ensure they will be playing at the Superdome come January. LSU faced off against 10th ranked Georgia in the SEC Title game and despite a slow start they secured yet another victory. LSU took the victory with a 42-10 scoreline thanks to a dominant rushing performance with 2 touchdowns from Kenny Hilliard & another from Alfred Blue.
LSU have been a lock at number 1 in the College Football rankings and will have to wait to see who their opponent will be in the National title game.
College Football Scores – Clemson win the ACC.
In more NCAA College football scores Clemson won the ACC Title game with a 38-10 win over Virginia Tech & in the shock of the weekend Houston lost their undefeated status when they lost 49-28 to Southern Miss.
In other College football scores Boise State, Wisconsin, Baylor & TCU closed out their regular seasons with a win.
