Sepp BlatterWith Racial rows being a big focus within football at the present time with John Terry & Anton Ferdinand at the focus of a Police Investigation & Luis Suarez being reprimanded for Racial Abuse to Patrice Evra of Man Utd. In most Sports the governing body of the sport would take a hard line with Racial abuse within Sport but it appears that FIFA do not see Racism as a major issue.

Sepp Blatter has created the Sepp Blatter Race Row with his response to dealing with Racism within football by saying that a handshake at the end of the game would suffice to end any bad feelings. This answer has had the football & sporting world up in arms at the lack of substance to his response and many calling for him to resign.

The Sepp Blatter race row comes at a time when racism on the pitch is in the spotlight with the actions of the FA & the English Premier League to alleged racism between players on the pitch. For Blatter who is not loved within the football community has only embarased himself further and distanced himself from football.
