Rooney and Berbatov scored in the last 2 minutes to complete the dominate victory which kept the pressure up on league leaders Man City.

Man City had a solid home victory against thanks to 2 goals from Sergio Aguero & 1 from English winger Adam Johnson to win 3 nil. Man City will now be top of the Premier League table over Christmas & sit 2 points clear of Man Utd in second.

Barclays Premier league Results – 20’000th Premier League goal

In other of the latest Premier League results Arsenal won away at Aston villa with a 2-1 score line thanks to a penalty from Van Persie & a late Yossi Benayoun strike. However the highlight of the game was Marc Albrighton’s equaliser which was the 20000th Premier League goal in the leagues history.

In More Premier league results West Brom got their second away win in a week with a battling 3-2 win against Newcastle United. The baggies had twice held the lead but 2 Demba Ba equalisers had tied the game but a 85th minute Paul Scharner volley gave West Brom the 3 points.

In the remaining English Premier League results Everton got a 1 nil home victory against Swansea, Sunderland defeated QPR 3-2 at Loftus Road & Wigan battled to a goalless draw against Liverpool at the DW Stadium.
