NFL Scores 2011 – Week 5
As the NFL moved into week 5 we take a look at the NFL Scores 2011 from week 5 and we begin our NFL Scores 2011 week 5 review with a look at last years Super Bowl champs the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers came into week 5 undefeated they headed to Atlanta to face the Falcons. The Packers would be 14 points behind in the 2nd quarter, but Aaron Rodgers picked his team up in the second half to keep their undefeated start to the season. Rodgers threw for 396 yards and 2 touchdown passes to James Jones & Gregg Jennings. The Packers camp believe they have what it takes to reach the Superbowl again and on current form not many will disagree.
In another NFL scores 2011 one of the most surprising teams and the most under performing teams went head to head. The Bill who came into the game at 3-1 & the Eagles came with a 1-3 record with many expecting the Eagles to be a Super Bowl contender their start to the season has many scratching their head.
Things would not get any better for Philadelphia as they crashed to their 4th defeat of the season as the Buffalo Bills won 31-24. The Bills defence came up big Intercepting Vick four times with 1 of the interceptions being returned for a touchdown.
In Other NFL scores 2011 Kansas City came from 17 points behind to defeat the Indianapolis Colts 28-24 with Matt Cassel throwing for all 4 touchdowns. The Vikings got their first win with a dominant win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Vikings had star running back Adrian Petersen to thank for the victory as he rushed for 122 yards & 3 touchdowns.
NFL Scores 2011 – Final wrap up
Our final game we will highlight from NFL scores 2011 week 5 is the big divisional rivalry between the New York Jets & New England Patriots. The game was tightly fought but New England took the lead in the first quarter and never relinquished it. The Patriots won 30-21 with 2 touchdowns from Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis and 1 touchdown pass from quarterback Tom Brady.
