NCAA Football Scores – Week 7 Top Games
This weeks NCAA Football scores saw yet another schedule chock full of awesome games, this weeks games saw 5 games from teams in the top NCAA Football rankings. The top ranked team LSU on the other hand hit the road to meet up with Tennessee, by the end of this game few will doubt that the LSU tigers deserve their No.1 Status in the 2011 NCAA Football Rankings. LSU started the game less aggressively than we have became accustomed to seeing them in the first 6 weeks of the NCAA Football season, however they chalked up an impressive 38-7 victory. This massive score which was their sixth consecutive win over SEC opposition and their seventh consecutive win with the score difference being double digits, the defence was mainly credited with the win by ensuring Tennessee had no running game and there were enough turnovers to show the Tigers dominance. This leaves LSU 7-0 for the season and 4-0 in the SEC.
Elsewhere the biggest game of the week in the NCAA Football schedule was the match up between ranked 9 Oregon and ranked 18 Arizona state. For a large part of the game this was an enthralling contest and had the potential to be a classic with the scores see-sawing in both teams favours until mid way through the 3rd period. Oregon took the lead with a 3 yard run in touchdown from De’Anthony Thomas to put the scores 24-28 in Oregons favour. Oregon built on this momentum to end up winning the game 41-27, but this victory was’nt with out a cost with star Quarterback leaving the field with 2 injured knees after the Sun Devils Linebacker Colin Parker had fallen heavily on Darron Thomas’s legs.
Our next NCAAF game sees 2 closely ranked teams meet, Texas A&M ranked 21 welcomed Baylor ranked 20 to a game which saw an amazing 83 points shared between the teams. In this game the big talking point was the stunning display from Quaterback Ryan Tannehill, he tossed up 6 touchdowns and 4 of these were recieved by Ryan Swope giving both players career high Stats. This scoring display meant that the 83 point were scored by Texas A&M with them winning 55 Points to Baylors 28, making this one of the most interesting NCAA Football results of the day.
NCAA Football – More great scores
