NBA Scores 2012 Thursday 16th February

NBA Scores last nights game round up. 16/02/2012

In Thursdays NBA games we only got to see 3 games, it is Friday’s NBA scores that everyone will be looking forward to especially with the worlds eyes turning to see if Jeremy Lin can continue his form and fit into the Knicks team as Carmelo Anthony looks to making his return to the Knicks starting line-up. This is all for the future so lets look at yesterdays NBA scores to get up to date.

So first up we look at the match up between the Indiana Pacers and the New Jersey Nets, and before the start of the match the home fans were wondering if their star Small forward Danny Granger would be fit for the game. Thankfully Granger had made good enough progress since awkwardly twisting his foot and ankle in Tuesday’s game against Miami, Granger didn’t disappoint though and he led his teams scoring with 32 points. The Nets on the other hand were kept in touch with a good performance from Kris Humphries and Deron Williams, a combination of Humphries 10 rebounds and Williams 29 points ensured this game stayed tight. Again a massive decider in many NBA Scores it would seem that the good old 3 point conversion ratio proved tops with the Pacers converting over 10% more of their efforts with a ratio of .368, these extra point meant the Pacers edged the Nets by 5 points to win 93 points to 88.

NBA Scores – Boston need more practice on their 3s

In the 2nd game of this latest NBA scores report we head over to see the Chicago Bulls play host to the Boston Celtics, now a few seasons ago many would expect this game to be a Marque match up. However the Celtics this season haven’t really hit the consistency seen in recent seasons, whilst the Bulls are going from strength to strength. So you guessed it the Bulls won this one even without the talents of Derrick Rose, in his absence we can thank the combined Point scoring of Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng and not forgetting the rebounding of Joakim Noah for the teams good form. The Celtics are seriously missing out on their 3 point conversions they only shot a .200 average on Thursday leaving a serious dent on their NBA scores tally. The final score here was 89 to the Bulls and 80 to the Celtics.

In tonights final game from our NBA scores report we saw the LA Clippers meet with the Portland Trail Blazers. And put plain and simply you need to sit down and watch the 4th quarter of this match up, the Clippers had misfired all night with Chris Paul having ‘one of those nights’ Blake Griffin kept them afloat. However Paul saved his party pieces for the 4th by going on a scoring run of 13 points to cap a stunning comeback for the Clippers. They ended up winning 74-71.

So another NBA scores round up is complete and I hope you have enjoyed it remember to share like and +1 to help get us noticed, remember we are Real Sports fans just like you. Is’nt that sweet so remember to check back for more NBA scores news thank you and good night.
