After the dust had settled on the news that the NFL Lockout had been lifted teams have already been in action today signing up the un drafted rookie free agents. In the top NFL news one of the premier undrafted rookies has been snapped up by the New York Giants.

Mark Herzlich a cancer survivor and a LB who played his college football at Boston College has decided to call New York his home for the next couple of years. Herzlich who recovered from Ewing’s Sarcoma in 2009, which is a rare form of bone cancer. He returned to football in the 2010 season where he started all 13 games recording 65 tackles & 4 interceptions and was considered one of college footballs best Line backers.
