The biggest surprise in the college football scores week 8 was the home defeat of Oklahoma to Big 12 rivals Texas Tech 41-38 at the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The loss for Oklahoma saw there 39 game home winning streak broken despite quarterback Landry Jones throwing for 412 yards and 5 touchdowns. Texas Tech built up a solid first half lead with a 24-7 advantage. A quick score in the third quarter would be enough to keep Texas Tech in the lead. Quarterback Seth Doege was the star man for Texas Tech throwing for 4 touchdowns with no interceptions.

The big reason for the loss for Oklahoma was their sluggish start to the game which left them constantly chasing Texas Tech, the loss sees Oklahoma lose their undefeated status and will see them slip down the College Football rankings.

Wisconsin faced Michigan state in a battle between the 6th &16th ranked teams in the country and produced a memorable college football scores. Wisconsin and Michigan State were tied 31 – 31 going into the last play of the game with Michigan State in possession of the ball. With the last throw of the ball State quarterback Kirk Cousins launched a Hail Mary pass 44 yards into the endzone which was caught by Keith Nichol to give Michigan State the 37-31 the win.

LSU rolled to a 45 -10 victory over last years National Champions Auburn at Tiger Stadium. Number 2 ranked Alambama also dominated in their 37-6 victory over Tennessee.  Both teams heading their rest/bye week and their match will be the most anticipated College football scores of the year.

In other Current college football scores of the weekend Clemson continued their impressive sedan with a 59 – 38 victory over UNC. Boise state had a tight match up with Air Force but managed a 37 – 26 victory.
