The point of the Spring games are to show the teams Offence vs the Defence in front of eager College Football fans who are chomping at the bit for the 2012 College Football season to begin. It is however used in the recruitment of future players to join the squad. Many teams will invite potential recruits to sample the atmosphere which they could be playing in if they decide to join for the 2012 College Football Season.
2012 Spring Football sees the first look at teams who have rebuilt after their star players have left for Aprils 2012 NFL Draft & 1 of those teams is Alabama who begun their 2012 College football this weekend with their Spring game. Alabama who were the national champs this year will see 2 junior cornerbacks have to step up. Saturdays Spring game for Alabama however showed how strong their high powered offence will be going into the 2012 College Football season.
2012 College Football Spring game schedule will see Arkansas of the SEC kickoff their campaign but will also be the first public outing of the team since Bobby Petrino’s firing last week. Arkansas will be without a head coach for the side and it will be interesting to see how the team will look. Other SEC teams having their Spring game will see Mississippi, Mississippi State, Tennesse & Kentucky play on Saturday.

The field for the 2012 NCAA Final Four is now set and 4 College Basketball teams will face off in New Orleans for a chance to win the 2012 NCAA College Basketball title. At the 2012 NCAA Final Four there will be one 1 seed, two 2 seeds and the highest seed in the Final Four is a 4 seed.
The 2012 NCAA Final Four venue is the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans with the 2 semi finals taking place on Saturday 31st March & the Championship game taking place on Monday 2nd April. The opening game of the 2012 Final Four sees one of the oldest rivalry in College Basketball take place in what is one of the highest stakes in the rivalries history. The remaining 1 seed Kentucky take on the highest seed remaining the 4th seed Louisville. The 2 teams met earlier this season with Kentucky coming out on top 69-62 but the matchup at the Final Four will be a much more intense encounter.
Kentucky will look towards future NBA Star Freshman Anthony Davis to lead them to victory whilst Louisville will hope their brutal defence will keep them in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
2012 NCAA Final Four – (2) Ohio State v (2) Kansas
In the 2nd match in the 2012 NCAA Final Four will see 2 number 2 seeds go head to head with the Kansas Jayhawks take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. The 2 teams also met earlier on in this college basketball season with Kansas defeating Bucks Eyes 78-67 at the Phog Allen Fieldhouse in Kansas.
Tyshawn Taylor will be the player to look out for Kansas after breaking out of his scoring slump in the regional final where Jared Sullinger in the man to watch for the Buckeyes.

The Final Four of the NCAA Tournament 2012 has now been decided after the 2 remaining Elite Eight games took place on Sunday. There were 2 number 1 seeds in action but only 1 made it through to the NCAA Tournament 2012 Final Four.
NCAA Tournament 2012 – (2) Kansas v (1) North Carolina
The Midwest regional final is where we begin our look at the NCAA Tournament 2012 scores where 1 seed North Carolina took on the 2 seeds in their region Kansas. At half time their was nothing between the 2 teams as the scores were tied at the half 47-47 but the game was much more one sided in the second half. Kansas outscored North Carolina 33-20 to win the dame 80-67 to see Kansas return to the Final Four 2012 for the first time since 2008 where they won the National Title.
The Kansas Jayhawks had a clutch performance from Tyshawn Taylor who had a strong all round game with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists & 5 steals. The match up saw neither team get away from each other until the final minutes where Kansas built their lead. To reach the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament 2012 is a big achievement for Kansas after struggling at the start of the season.
Kansas now move on to face Ohio State on Saturday for a place in the NCAA Tournament 2012 Championship game.
(1) Kentucky V (3) Baylor – NCAA Tournament 2012
In the earlier game from the NCAA Tournament 2012 saw 1 seeded Kentucky take on 3 seeded Baylor in which was a much more one sided contest. Kentucky built a half time lead of 20 which the Baylor Bears could not get close to despite trying their best in the second half but they were unable to cope with Kentucky’s blistering offence full of future NBA Stars.
Kentucky won the game 82-70 to book their second straight Final Four appearance & sets up a Bluegrass showdown with long term rival Louisville in the NCAA Tournament 2012 Final Four.

The East Region final saw 1 seed Syracuse take on 2 seed Ohio State at one of the 2012 NCAA Tournament venues the TD Garden in Boston. The game epitomised what March Madness is all about with the game going backwards and forwards until the Buckeyes seized the initiative in final minutes. Syracuse had cut the lead to 3 points in the final 59 seconds but Ohio State were too strong from the free throw line. The Buckeyes shot 31 of 42 for the game and 13 from 14 in the final 68 seconds to defeat the 1 seed 77-70 for an impressive 2012 NCAA Tournament scores.

The 2nd 2012 NCAA Tournament scores from Saturday evening saw a battle of two middle seeds go head to head to reach the 2012 NCAA Final Four. The matchup saw 7th ranked Florida head of against 4th ranked Louisville in the West Region final. Florida looked the more likely to be heading New Orleans next weekend however but a Louisville run of 23-8 to finish the game gave them the 72-68 victory in Phoenix. The go ahead basket for the Cardinals came from Freshman forward Chane Behanan with 1 minute 6 seconds remaining in the game. Behanan was the star man for Louisville scoring 17 points & 7 rebounds to give Louisville their first place in the NCAA Final Four since 2005.

UNC advance to the Elite Eight – NCAA Tournament 2012
It almost happened as North Carolina were taken into overtime by 13th seed Ohio in their sweet sixteen match up of the NCAA Tournament 2012. The scores were tied at 63 at the end of regulation but Ohio could only manage 2 points in the overtime period which saw their Cinderella Story end at the NCAA Tournament, North Carolina scored 10 points and defeated Ohio 73-65 in the evenings best game.
NCAA Tournament 2012 – Kentucky dominate Indiana
For the remaining number 1 seed in action Kentucky it was pretty much plain sailing in their NCAA Tournament 2012 scores as they defeated 4th seed Indiana 102-90. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was the star of the show for Kentucky as he scored 24 points and grabbed 10 boards as Kentucky punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament 2012 Elite 8.
The Baylor Bears came out strong in their 2012 NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen matchup and raced out to a lead which they never surrendered in their 75-70 victory over 10th seed Xavier. Baylor senior Quincy Acy had an impressive night scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds in his teams win which sets up a match up with Kentucky on Sunday.
In the remaining game from last nights NCAA Tournament 2012 games would see the winner of the Kansas & NC State match go on to face North Carolina for a spot in the 2012 Final Four. It would be the 2 seed Kansas who would win the matchup 60-57 but had to suffer a late fight back from the Wolfpack but did enough to advance despite not playing at their best.
