This weekend saw the beginning of the 2012 NBA Playoffs and as expected their were some great games taking place over the weekend and we will keep you up to date with all the 2012 NBA Playoffs scores throughout this years playoffs.
We begin our look at the scores with the biggest shock on Saturday where the injury depleted Orlando Magic scored an upset victory over the Indiana Pacers 81-77. The Magic who are without all star center Dwight Howard had 17 point performances from Jameer Nelson & Jason Richardson as they took a 1-0 series lead.
2012 NBA Playoffs Preview
Saturday sees the beginning of the 2012 NBA Playoffs as 16 NBA teams battle it out to become the 2012 NBA Champion in the shortened season due to the lockout which postponed the start of the season. The Playoffs begin on saturday with 4 games on Saturday 3 from the Eastern Conference Playoffs & 1 from the West.
2012 NBA Playoffs – 76ers @ Bulls
The curtain raiser of this years NBA Playoffs sees the number 1 seed in the East the Chicago Bulls take on the 8th seed Philadelphia 76ers in Chicago. The Bulls who are most peoples tip to make the 2012 NBA finals will be hoping that 2011 MVP Derrick Rose can stay injury free. Many believe that with Rose sitting out 27 games of the regular season will keep him fresh for the Playoffs.
The 76ers have limped into the playoffs and were at risk of missing out after a 20-9 start to their season. However the playoffs have rejuvenated teams before and expect a good series between the top & bottom seeds in the East.
Knicks @ Heat – 2012 NBA Playoffs
The next game up on the NBA Playoffs 2012 sees the Miami Heat take on the New York Knicks which will see the Heat open their defence of their Eastern Conference Championship. The Heat lead the regular season meetings with a record of 3-0 but it all counts for nothing as the Knicks have a healthy Stoudemire & Anthony on their Roster.
The Dream Team in Miami will be looking to avenge their Playoff heartache last year as they D Wade, James & Bosh will be hungry for the NBA title.
Magic @ Pacers
The 3rd game on the 2012 NBA Playoffs schedule sees the 3rd seeded Indiana Pacers take on the 6th seed Orlando Magic. The Pacers will face an injury depleted Magic side as they are without All Star centre Dwight Howard. The Pacers have a completely healthy roster and will look to take an easy advance into the next round.
For the Magic there only slimmer of hope is that they can get the 3 ball working otherwise they will be heading for their 2nd consecutive 1st round exit.
Mavericks @ Thunder
In the final game of the 2012 NBA Playoffs sees the Dallas Mavericks begin their defence of the NBA title against the sensational Oklahoma City Thunder. The Mavs are the huge underdog in their first round series & will have to work hard to match the Thunders fast paced offence of Westbrook & Durant.

2012 NBA Scores – Tuesday 24th April

The Celtics managed to get a victory to improve their record for the season with a 78-66 victory. Sasha Pavlovic had a season high of 16 points in a game which lacked quality & star power.
In another NBA game from Tuesday night saw the Atlanta Hawks secure a big win over the LA Clippers with a 109-102 victory. Both teams still had their star names in the game as both needed a win to maintain their ranking in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Blake Griffin scored 36 points and grabbed 8 rebounds but it wasn’t enough for the Clippers as Joe Johnson’s 28 points led the Hawks to the win.
Durant sets sight on the NBA’s scoring title – 2012 NBA Scores
Kevin Durant stayed in the game as he has his sights set on winning the NBA scoring title and his 32 points allowed him to stretch his lead. His performance gave the Oklahoma City Thunder a 118-110 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Durant now leads Kobe Bryant by just .11 points with an average of 27.97 compared to Bryant’s 27.86 points per game.
In more 2012 NBA Scores the Hornets managed a win over the Golden State Warriors 83-81. However the winning shot never went through the rim as a clear goaltending penalty on Chris Wright was called on a lay up by Marco Bellinelli. Utah Defeated the Suns 100-88 thanks to a big performance from Paul Millsap with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

NBA Scores 2012 – Monday 23rd April
With Monday nights NBA Scores the final 2012 NBA Playoffs spot was clinched in the East whilst the Top seed in the West was locked in. We begin our look back at last nights NBA Scores with the game which locked up the final spot on the East’s playoff standings.
Sixers lock up final spot in the East – NBA Scores
The 76ers defeated the New Jersey Nets 105-87 to wrap up the final spot in the NBA Playoffs in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia lead from from the beginning and never let up their lead to make their 2nd consecutive playoff appearance. The game was also the final home game for the New Jersey Nets as from next season they will become the Brooklyn Nets.
Because of Philadelphia’s NBA Scores on Monday it eliminated the milwaukee Bucks from Playoff contention despite earning a hard fought victory on Monday. The Bucks defeated the Raptors 92-86 with a big night from Brandon Jennings who scored 25 points and dished out 5 assists but they will have to wait until next season to make a playoff appearance.
NBA Scores – Spurs are best in the West
Moving onto more 2012 NBA scores and the tying up of the Number 1 seed in the NBA Playoffs 2012 in the Western conference. The Spurs made sure that all roads in the Western Conference Playoffs will lead through San Antonio when they thrashed Portland 124-89 for their 8th straight victory. The Spurs sent out a strong message to all NBA teams that they mean business for this offseason but a top seed means nothing if they lose in their first series.
