Arsenal transfer rumours have been scattered over the back pages of every newspaper throughout the summer, with most of these Arsenal transfer rumours being about the Arsenal players wanting to leave the Emirates. The main Arsenal transfer news rumours concern them signing a much needed defender, midfielder and a striker. The defender at the top of everyones Arsenal transfer rumours list and who is mostly hotly tipped to join Arsenal, is Bolton’s Gary Cahill. Cahill has been a transfer target for many clubs during this summers transfer window, making it very difficult to single out the club who will get Cahill’s to sign. Gary Cahill can leave the Reebok stadium for a fee in the region of £12million but a rumoured bid from Arsenal last week was for £6million which was rejected by Bolton.

The latest Arsenal transfer gossip involves a midfielder required to replace the outgoing Fabregas & Nasri, these rumours suggest that they are looking at Mikel Arteta from Everton. According to other Arsenal transfer rumours it is believed, that despite Arteta’s age he has the creative flair which they are lacking. It is also believed in light of their summer departures Arteta will complement Jack Wilshire in the middle of their midfield, offering some much needed experience. Everton are also cash strapped, so may find an offer from Arsenal too hard to turn down to help balance their books.

The Arsenal transfer news today has Arsenal on the verge of signing Monaco forward Park Chu-Young for a fee rumoured to be in the region of £8million. Arsenal transfer rumours suggest they have pipped French champions Lille to the signing of Park who were just hours away from signing the South Korea International but as soon as Park knew of the interest from the Premier League club he put talks on hold.
